This is something I often think about. Unfortunately it is necessary to compromise, even if we don't wish to- to be able to live.

Perhaps judgement calls are necessary in every case?

I doubt if you will survive a moment. The entire system is based on corruption.

It is possible to make an honest living. It is difficult if you are at a very high level, due to the power-money-business-politics nexus. Then it depends on your guts, you ability to communicate, tolerate, and withstand.

For people of proletarian levels, like me, honest day to day living is possible. A reduction of needs, a good judgement of people, a tendency to stray from the herd, and ability to expect the worst, often yields surprising results.

Things are not so bad. There is hope yet. But I reserve my right to shout and scream about things whenever I feel like it.

But also depends on the profession one is in I suppose.

Almost entire family is in defence forces so its easier ...but then even in the forces we have so many who are corrupt and darn corrupt at that....Honesty is a forgotten word for them :/

PS:- Kahaan ho? :O Still travelling?
